STYLED SHOOT | Sweetness among the Olive Trees
This wedding styled shoot published on Style Me Pretty was so much fun to create and I am so grateful for this opportunity, especially because every sigle detail fits perfectly with the aesthetic I am going for. The color palette is just gorgeous and as you can see the result is a completely stunning set of photos that capture the brilliance of the Italian light perfectly! Here's some words from the super talented planner and stylist Laura of @laurabravievents:
"This love story takes place in a not too well known area of Italy, just above Tuscany: Emilia Romagna. We wanted to tell a story of timeless romance, of two soulmates promising each other their forevers, of delicate and classic details on a simple and authentic background. We designed an intimate space for this sacred moment, using an old gate as a backdrop, enriched with olive branches that looked like they were growing out of the ancient stone walls of the old barn, tall candles to bring a touch of romance".
For the stationery I created a full hand drawn suite, using a beautiful shade of grey on handmade Amalfi paper. I hand mixed the grey ink so that it would fit perfectly with the overall color palette. The contrast between grey ink and white paper made the words pop from the page. The wedding suite consisted of 4 elements: Main Invitation, Rsvp card, Save the date and a handrawn botanical illustration. Because of course I always have to incorporate flowers in my suites! ;) I also included floral vintage stamps and created a monogram shield at the top of the main invitation: it's an illustrated detail that really ads a super sweet touch to the invitation.
As you can see, @stefygraziedeifiori 's floral arrangements for the shoot are completely breathtaking. I love the flowers she chose and their soft pastel colors. The grey linen was paired with decorative tiles called "cementine", glass containers and vintage brass candleholders. I think that the contrast between transparent tableware and the opaque candleholders and tiles is so noteworthy and adds an extra special touch to the table setting.
The bride and groom were just perfect for the look of the shooting and interacted very well together: they inspire so much romance and sweetness I especially adored the bride model: she's such an ethereal creature with big sweet eyes and she looks like an angel with the gorgeous wedding dress by @boutique_alba. The dress is a masterpiece with the beautiful motifs on the back and on the sleeves. Did you know that I have a thing for fabric?? :)
